Check out your venue layout for Country Night Lights on Sept. 26!

For those without pre-purchased VIP parking passes wanting to park on-site, you’ll follow the road in all the way to the Main Parking area, and will enter through Gate 1.

Those who purchased a VIP parking pass will enter the festival through Gate 2. If you purchased a cabana, you’ll also enter through Gate 2. VIP parking is for those with a VIP parking pass; it is NOT for VIP ticket holders unless you have a VIP parking pass.

If you have a GA ticket, you should proceed through Gate 1 only. If you have a VIP ticket, you should proceed through Gate 1 OR Gate 2; there will be separate VIP lines at the gates for you to get your VIP wristband!

Camping is located right outside of the festival, nestled next to the festival and parking lot. The only way to access the camping area is via the main parking lot; there is not a camping entrance from the festival itself.

Please note that there is NO RE-ENTRY TO THE FESTIVAL. You are not allowed to leave the festival to go to your car/camping spot and come back into the festival.

Parking IS available on-site in the Main Parking Lot on Saturday for $20. Should parking at the venue fill up, all on-site parking will be redirected to the Athens Fairgrounds, just down Route 56. We will have free, complimentary shuttles to take those who park at the Fairgrounds to and from the festival. These shuttles are for those parking at the Fairgrounds ONLY; they are not available to the public.

20 YEARS AGO TODAY TIM MCGRAW’S “I LIKE IT, I LOVE IT” HIT #1
September 16, 2015

Exactly twenty years ago today, on September 16, 1995, Tim McGraw’s “I Like It, I Love it” debut single shot straight to the top of the charts. The song came from his third studio album, All I Want, which was released three days after the song landed at the top of the charts on September 19, 1995. “I Like It, I Love It” stayed at the top of the charts for five weeks. It was included on McGraw’s 2000 Greatest Hits album, his 2008 Greatest Hits: Limited Edition album, and his 2010 #1 Hits album.

Written by Jeb Stuart Anderson, Steve Dukes and Mark Hall, the hit also became an unofficial sports anthem. ABC’s Monday Night Football broadcasts frequently used the country-favorite sing-a-long, and it is also the celebration song for the NHL’s Nashville Predators.

“I didn’t think much about recording it,” McGraw recalls to Huntsville radio station WDRM-FM. “I was kind of cold on it, and I listened to it again, and for some reason, it hit me a whole lot different the second time around. And then when we went in and cut the track, the track just turned out so fun and so cool that it really didn’t matter how much I liked it anymore after we got to the track, because I loved it after that.”
